MCP is an easy to use photographic conversion programme, allowing
you to see your ordinary photos in a new light.
It converts digital photographs (.bmp or .jpg) to MCP images
using .mcp filters. The resulting image is always saved as
a bitmap (.bmp) together with a data file (.dat).
MCP has a completely new function called 'Tone Control'.
The sliders (R, G, and B) allow the user to adjust the colour
depth on any opened picture. You can adjust each colour (RGB)
separately or adjust the brightness by adjusting each slider
to the same position. This function allows the user to adjust
the colour depth and brightness of pictures that may need
fine alterations or colour adjustments. This is quite often
the case with still photographs.
Adjusting the brightness/colour prior to applying an MCP
filter is a big advantage for poorly defined pictures, giving
much better definition to the end result.
